Women and families are our business!
Committed? Yes, we are!To improving the life quailty of all Indiana women and their families and especially that of Black women whose health, education, economic, and family issues are challenged beyond the norm. NWI Chapter programs inform, educate and inspire self-sufficiency, leadership, and achievement. Who are we and what do we do? We are Indiana's 21st Century Women @ Work in our communities connecting women and their families to health and human services resources, mentoring and teaching children and young adults about their culutre and the arts, promoting empowerment through education, and engaging community businesses, schools, health care providers, and local and state governments in support of initiatives that make life better for women and their families. We believe that when women and children are well, have access to vital life nurturing resources, and receive the respect and recognition they deserve as mentors of the human resources within our communities, our urban communitities thrives.
NWI Chapter Leadership Taping into the varied community resources on the many levels that the NWI Chapter does, requires effective and respected leadership and an unwaivering resolve not take no for an answer.
